1What we collect

Today: the email address and message content you send us, including waitlist requests. Our hosting provider also processes technical data, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver this website and keep it secure.

When our software launches:

  • account details, such as your name and email address
  • billing details, such as your plan and payment history; our payment processor handles card numbers, and we do not store them
  • content you provide to the Service, and content from accounts you choose to connect
  • usage and device information, such as how features are used and error reports

2Where it comes from

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the Service, from accounts you choose to connect, and from our payment processor.

3How we use it

  • to reply to you and tell you when we launch
  • to provide, maintain, secure and support the Service
  • to process payments and send service messages
  • to improve the Service, using usage information
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

4Legal bases

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Service; your consent, such as when you join the waitlist or connect an account, which you can withdraw at any time; and our legal obligations.

5Who we share it with

We use service providers for cloud hosting, email, payments and, when our software launches, automated processing such as artificial intelligence. They may process information only on our instructions and under contract.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6Connected accounts

When our software launches, you may choose to connect accounts such as email and calendars. We will use that data only to provide the features you can see in the Service, and you can disconnect at any time.

Our use of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use connected-account data for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models, and do not allow people to read it except with your permission, for security, or as the law requires.

7Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

8How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until we have told you about our launch or you ask us to remove you. We keep other messages for as long as needed to help you.

We keep account data while your account is active. After you close it, we delete or anonymize your content within 90 days, including backups, unless we must keep it for legal, tax, accounting or security reasons.

9Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@veydrum.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you using only automated processing.

10California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers, such as email addresses, and internet activity information, such as IP addresses, for the purposes described above. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. An authorized agent may make a request for you.

11International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@veydrum.com and we will delete it.

14Changes to this policy

We will post updates here and change the date above. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
